Fact-Checking Policy

Astrology is a symbolic tradition, so much of what we publish is interpretation rather than fact. But plenty of it is checkable, and this page explains how we handle that part.
What we verify
- Sign dates. The date range for each zodiac sign, checked against our own reference data so every page on the site agrees.
- Sign attributes. Element, modality, ruling planet, symbol and associated house — all stated consistently from a single source.
- Astronomical cycles. Orbital periods, the length of the lunar month, how often retrogrades occur.
- Traditional meanings. When we say a planet or house “traditionally represents” something, that reflects established Western astrological convention rather than our invention.
What we cannot verify, and say so
Predictions are not verifiable. Neither is the claim that a sky event will cause something in your life. We present that material as tradition and reflection, not as fact, and we try to use language that keeps the difference visible.
Dates we will not invent
Exact retrograde windows, eclipse dates and planetary transits change every year and require proper astronomical data to state correctly. Where we do not have verified figures, we explain what an event means without attaching dates to it. We would rather publish less than publish numbers we made up.
Claims about real people
We do not publish biographical claims, birth data or personality assessments about named real people unless they are properly sourced. “Famous people born under this sign” lists are easy to get wrong and we treat them accordingly.
Consistency across the site
Sign and astrology facts on zodiacsdestiny.com come from one internal reference set rather than being retyped per article. If a detail is corrected, it changes everywhere at once.
